Welcome to our IMpower Incorporating FundForum eMagazine, collating some of the best insights from the 2 days in Monaco.

Dear friends,

We want to say a huge thank you to everyone involved in making IMpower 2022 THE year to remember. Wow! It was fantastic to experience such a great vibe and to see so many people connecting face-to-face, with 1400-strong talented, diverse individuals coming together as one. This really was a pivotal moment for the industry to move the dial on so many levels.

We welcomed the brightest minds in the industry and beyond to take to the stage. The diversity of voices and viewpoints echoed through the Grimaldi Forum, with 350+ speakers from 40+ countries, an incredible 40% of which were female industry professionals across 8 stages: The most interesting and diverse we’ve ever had.

Introducing the first CEO boardroom where 80+ asset and wealth management CEOs gained insight on leadership strategies with a former head of one of the world’s top security agencies and what Post-war Ukraine looks like directly from Ukrainian businesses. additionally, CEO's participated in the IMpower Net–Zero & The Transition Leadership Project: Where CEOs can make a significant personal difference to the net-zero agenda.

In terms of the sustainability agenda IMpower is proud to be making proactive steps by achieving carbon neutral accreditation and winning an award at Informa’s annual awards. While these are big steps in the right direction, we still have a long way to go and will continue to work towards becoming a more sustainable event.

As part of the Future Leaders Project, we ran the 4th instalment of the Finding your Voice showcase, which had our public speaking training expert lead 6 rising stars take to the stage to and 'find their brave', delivering phenomenal presentations and truly ‘owning the room’.

By empowering today’s leaders to sense check and make the right decisions, and by empowering the next generation of leaders to step up, the industry is aligning with not only the customers of today, but also of tomorrow.
