ADVERTORIAL
Founded in 2015 by Stephan Hoving and Dr. Nicolas Stutterheim, Aminocore has emerged as a pioneer in the field of agriculture. By offering amino acids that are effective with a dosage as low as 150 mL per hectare, their goal is to redefine the way crops are nourished and cultivated. With a focus on research, development and market demand, Aminocore is rising to worldwide expansion, accelerating more sustainable and efficient farming practices.
Aminocore's journey began with a vision to harness the power of amino acids derived from a unique pharmaceutical byproduct. Dr. Nicolas Stutterheim, a seasoned crop scientist with over 35 years of experience, and Stephan Hoving, a visionary entrepreneur, recognized the potential of this resource and embarked on a mission to revolutionize agricultural practices.
Unveiling the Essence of Amino Acids Most amino acids in the market are made from residues like cow horn, hooves or leather. All hard materials that need to be broken down into liquids with aggressive chemistry. With these conventional, chemical processes a lot of the amino acids are degraded. The procedure causes spikes in specific amino acids, while

other amino acids are hardly if at all present. The result is a product with limited efficacy.

In contrary to this, the core of Aminocore's innovation lies in its enzymatically hydrolyzed amino acids, which has several key distinctions from conventional products on the market. Unlike many competitors, Aminocore's formulations contain essential metabolites from their pharmaceutical source. Nicolas Stutterheim, responsible for product development and research at Aminocore, explains, "We discovered that due to the source material our amino acids contain a lot of metabolites with different functions, which is the reason for our remarkable efficiency. The small enzyme and peptide articles allow for optimal absorption and utilization by plants, leading to superior results. We are actively researching to further substantiate this unique feature."
Aminocore amino acids as metabolic activators, directly interfere positively with the plants’ energy
The biochemical processes in the photosynthesis energy system are dependent on amino acids that a plant can acquire or produce. By applying additional amino acids to crops, the plant retains 20 to 30% more energy. Stutterheim explains, “We offer these in a way that they can be directly absorbed by the plant and don’t have to transform all kinds of nutrients into amino acids, so it saves the plant energy. Every plant will benefit from the application of amino acids.” Ultimately, Aminocore is applicable broadly. At this time customers use it mainly for field crops and crops with fruiting or flowering. Aminocore is even certified for organic growing.
Enhancing Nutrient Absorption Aminocore takes the amino acids as the base of all their products and combines it with other functions. “While the amino acids create energy for the plants, you can add for instance lacking iron”, says Nicolas. What sets Aminocore's amino acids apart is their proven ability to chelate nutrients effectively, enhancing nutrient uptake and utilization by crops. “The amino acids seem to envelop the iron and work as a chelator. The absorption of the iron increases in combination with amino acids”, Nicolas continues. For this reason Aminocore adds nutrients like iron, calcium and boron to their basic amino acid solution. Stephan Hoving, managing director of Aminocore, emphasizes, "This synergistic effect maximizes plant growth and vitality."
Low Dosage, Higher Margins Aminocore's commercial proposition is anchored in its remarkable efficiency and low dosage rates, offering substantial benefits to partners and growers. With an application rate as low as 150 mL

per hectare, Aminocore significantly outperform competitors. At the meantime it is providing distributors and growers with cost-effective solutions and higher margins.
The success of Aminocore's low dosage has been proven in field research all over the world. One of the experiments took place in Brazil, where over 150,000 hectares of various crops have been tested, on 25 locations spread all over the country. This research yielded impressive results, even in challenging climatic conditions. On that grounds, Aminocore is in collaboration with their local partners now leader for the sugar cane market in Brazil.
The impact of Aminocore's products goes beyond economic prosperity, empowering farmers to adopt more sustainable and environmentally friendly practices. Stephan Hoving highlights the economic benefits of Aminocore's solutions, stating, "Farmers using our products can achieve significantly higher yields with lower chemical inputs. This translates to substantial cost savings and higher profits. A mere investment of 2-3 euros per hectare can yield an 8% increase in crop yield, amounting to hundreds of euros in additional revenue. The price per liter is not how we outshine competitors, but we do excel in the market when you look at the application costs per hectare."
Aminocore's Core Ethos As a privately owned company, Aminocore needed to be profitable to evolve and expand. Tremendous growth has been achieved by a steadfast commitment to meet the evolving needs of customers. Through strategic partnerships
Low dose rate, proven high efficacy
and continuous dialogue with farmers, distributors and other stakeholders, Aminocore has cultivated a reputation for reliability and integrity. Speaking about the company's ethos, Aminocore’s current common way of operating is to sell their solutions white labelled for a distributor or formulator to brand.
Stephan Hoving emphasizes, "For Aminocore, the customers are the center of its existence. Being a young and lean company enabled us to grow fast as a company maintaining partnerships all over the world. That is why the quality of our products must be compliant with the demands of our customers."
Ready for worldwide production At present Aminocore is market leader in several agricultural frontrunning countries like the Netherlands. In pursuit of global expansion, Aminocore recently inaugurated a state-of-the-art production facility in Nordhorn (Germany), equipped to meet the growing demand for its solutions. Stephan Hoving explains, "Our new production site signifies our commitment to becoming a global player in the agricultural industry. With a production capacity of 10,000 to 15,000 tons annually, our goal is to scale our operations and cater to a broader market." Currently Aminocore provides amino acids for more than 4 million hectares worldwide. With this new plant it is possible to tenfold their production.

Contribution to Sustainability Aminocore's innovative approach to agriculture extends beyond product development to include sustainable practices and environmental management. By utilizing renewable solar energy in its production processes and using byproducts as source material, Aminocore exemplifies a commitment to sustainability and eco-conscious manufacturing.
Stephan Hoving elaborates, "We are a very sustainable company. We use residual streams, while many competitors use ingredients from the food chain. We appreciate a product that is not food and elevate it to a highly valuable fertilizer. Our raw material is thus highly sustainable.” Furthermore, when using Aminocore growers need less chemicals to keep their plants healthy, because with applying amino acids the plants are more resistant to stress. Lastly, the new production plant in Nordhorn is also operated sustainably, utilizing solar panels to operate the machinery. Hence, devotion to a green approach is in place at Aminocore.
Pioneering Growth Looking ahead, Aminocore remains dedicated to advancing research and development initiatives, ensuring continued innovation and product excellence. Stephan Hoving affirms, "Our goal is to establish Aminocore
as the leading supplier of amino acids, distinguished by the unique quality and efficacy of our products. Through in-house R&D and quality control, we aim to set new standards for sustainable agriculture."
Aminocore's commitment to research and development is integral to its mission of continuous innovation and product enhancement. Nicolas Stutterheim underscores the importance of ongoing research initiatives, stating, "We are now entering a phase of extensive field experiments in various regions of the world. Our goal is not only to prove the efficacy of our products but to showcase their transformative potential, enabling farmers to achieve unprecedented levels of productivity and quality."
In conclusion, Aminocore stands as a beacon of innovation and excellence in the agricultural landscape, offering transformative solutions that empower farmers, enhance crop yields, and safeguard the environment. With a steadfast commitment to quality, sustainability, and customer satisfaction, Aminocore is poised to lead the way towards more prosperous and sustainable agriculture. ●
