Aaron B. Cowley is the Chief Scientific Officer at ReciBioPharm where he provides scientific/technical oversight. He has more than 20 years of experience in discovering and developing manufacturing processes for enzymes and live biotherapeutics, and in developing, optimizing, and qualifying bioassays as well as protein engineering, gene cloning, recombinant protein expression by E.coli, fermentation, protein purification, elucidation of protein structures (NMR and X-ray crystallography), and drug discovery in both research laboratories and industrial settings. He has coauthored over 18 papers and several patents. He has been the Principal Investigator or Co-Principal Investigator on six grants, totaling ~$90M in total funding.
